From gary at glub.com Sat Nov 25 18:31:55 2006 From: gary at glub.com (Gary) Date: Sat Nov 25 18:31:58 2006 Subject: [ANN] Secure FTP v2.5.11 Released (fwd) Message-ID: Today marks the release of the Secure FTP client v2.5.11. Mostly minor bug fixes were rolled into this release, but we did add one feature for our command-line users... the ability to specify what kind of security mode to use on open. >From the command-line just follow "open" with: "secmode:implicit_ssl" for an implicit ssl connection "secmode:explicit_ssl" for an explicit ssl connection "secmode:none" for a clear text connection So, open secmode:none ftp.microsoft.com would attempt to make a plain-text connection to ftp.microsoft.com You have two downloading possibilities: an installer or via Java Web Start. For a complete list of the changes, please visit: http://secureftp.glub.com/changelist.shtml To download the newest client, please visit: http://secureftp.glub.com/download.shtml This is a free upgrade for those who have purchased previous versions. Thank you, -gary
